Superhero Adventure Weekend
Get ready for an action-packed weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, hosted by the Colten Cowell Foundation! Families will embark on a thrilling adventure to the legendary Crime Fighting Cave (aka the Bat Cave), where they can explore high-tech gadgets, a vintage car collection, and much more! The adventure also includes exciting optional outings for families to enjoy throughout the weekend.

What to Expect
- Families will enjoy an inclusive trip with airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation provided. *Families selected from the Arizona chapter will be responsible for their own transportation to Phoenix. A gas stipend will be provided to help offset travel expenses.
- The Crime Fighting Cave features hands-on fun with interactive gadgets, a stunning car collection, and thrilling surprises around every corner.
- Your child will be part of a special moment where they will help present a donation check to HopeKids and experience the joy of giving in a superhero-like way!
Eligibility:
- Children attending must be over the age of 4.
- Must be able to travel to Phoenix, Arizona.
- The HopeKid or their sibling must be a superhero superfan!
How to Apply
- To apply, scroll down to share a few details about who would attend and upload a short video from the superhero fan in your household telling us why they would love to visit the Crime Fighting Cave.
- Applications for the November date are due by August 14, 2026.
- Bereaved families are welcome to apply.
- If your family is selected to attend, all individuals over the age of 18 will need to consent to a background check.
- If your family is selected to attend, you must provide a signed medical clearance form from your HopeKid’s treating physician.
- If your family requires a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to attend, you must either have a PCA listed on your HopeKids account or submit documentation from a qualified medical professional verifying your child’s need for dedicated one-on-one assistance.

Everything was so hospitable & thought-through – it really allowed our family to have a great time together. My favorite part of the cave (besides driving the car, of course) was the painting & the hill of the CCF sign in the sky – because to me, it showed how we don’t need Batman, just people like you. From Dave and Buster’s, to the Batcave, to the dinner on the final night, you guys provided a fun, exciting, and different weekend away.
