The Ron Ames Memorial Golf Tournament is a half-day scramble tournament designed just the way golf should be – pure fun! In memory of our dear friend and longtime sponsor of this tournament, Ron Ames, the tournament is co-hosted by Edinburgh USA’s head pro and Minnesota golf Hall of Fame member Don Berry and KFAN’s Dan “Common Man” Cole. Join HopeKids at Edinburgh USA for a great time while raising money to provide an ongoing calendar of events for families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition. Stick around after the tournament for dinner, a silent auction, and prizes.
Format: Scramble.
Each player tees off. The team then chooses the best location from which to hit the second shots. This process continues for each shot until the ball is holed out. Two putt maximum.
